The Stonebrier Stingrays Swim Team, a part of the North Atlanta Swimming Association (NASA), was formed in 2008 to promote the FUN of competitive swimming in Stonebrier at Sugarloaf. The goal is for each swimmer to develop confidence, discipline, a healthy body and good sportsmanship while competing as a swimmer on the Stonebrier Stingrays swim team. This goal resulted in an undefeated season our first and second years and an excellent showing at the NASA meet at the Olympic Pool at Georgia Tech at the end of the first season and a divisional win the second!!

Fundraising Results and Reminders
Way to go Stingrays!!!!
Thanks to all the families and swimmers who participated in Laps for Lori and Swim for Sarah!!! Together we raised over $1,000 for the two of them! Many people in our neighborhood had already given and/or walked to earn money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure in memory of Lori Van Matre and yet we still raised $201.00 for Melissa Reiser who is walking in Lori's honor in October.
Sarah Goodwin and her mom Diana, were able to come the day of the fundraiser and got to see a few swimmers and enjoy some brownies! We were able to give them $977.75!!!! That is amazing and will be a big help for her family dream trip of going to Disney World together.
Great job Stingrays in swimming the extra mile for these two wonderful causes!
Just a reminder:
ASA championship entry forms are due today!
